1. Querim Beach, North Goa

This is the northern-most beach of Goa and located around 55 km north of Panaji. The beach is still unexplored with a serene shore and is perfect for relaxing amidst Nature.  Places to see near the beach is Tiracol fort, few centuries old with panoramic views of the Arabian Sea.

2. Arambol Beach, North Goa

Around 50 km north of Panaji is Arambol beach. This gorgeous long beach has cliffs on both of its sides and some good markets nearby. The beach is also host to several night parties. You can sense a Hippie culture prevelant here During day time, the beach also allows you to do fun filled water activities like paragliding and kite surfing.

3. Morjim Beach, North Goa

Considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa, this is located around 30 kms north of Panaji. Morjim has one of the best sunsets that you should never miss. The beach is well known for being a breeding ground for the famous Oliver Ridley turtles as well. You can see a good amount of Russian immigrants living nearby.

4. Vagator Beach, North Goa

This beautiful beach is located 20 km north of Panaji. Surrounded by cliffs, this beach provides a very relaxing atmosphereIt has vast stretches of coconut trees and the famous Chapora fort is also nearby . If you are there in December, don’t forget to bring you dancing shoes along as Asia’s biggest music festival, ‘Sunburn Goa’ happens on the last week of this month! That’s a lifetime experience!

5. Anjuna Beach

This rocky beach is one of the more popular sea beaches in Goa because of its night parties. Anjuna is situated 21 km north of Panaji. Nearby the beach are several food joints serving western seafood. It is also famous for its flea markets. At night, this beach and places nearby are host to several night parties, the ‘Full-moon party’ being the most famous.

6. Baga Beach, North Goa

This is the by far the most popular beach in Goa. It is by far the most happening place in Goa.  Baga beach is located 19 km north of Panaji. Apart from the beautiful beach and party atmosphere surrounding everywhere, you can also enjoy a good amount of water sports. The area also has some really good accommodation facilities.

 7. Calangute Beach, North Goa

This beach is just adjacent to the Baga beach. This place is flooded with markets, restaurants, tattoo parlors, pubs and bars. It is a crowded yet lovely sea beachCalangute is more famous for its water sports like paragliding, banana ride etc. The nightlife is similar to Baga and is the venue for the most famous pubs of Goa including Tito’s.

8. Candolim Beach

Around 15km away from Panjim and lying south of Calangute beach is this pristine beach. It is not as crowded as Calangute/ Baga and is a calm place to listen to the waves with your loved ones. Sunsets are also brilliant here ! It is a good choice to take a break from the maddening party atmosphere, but still be around.

9. Miramar Beach

Miramar beach is located 3 km away Panaji. It is surrounded by local street shops and local restaurants. The main churches of Goa are located nearby. This beach is not very wide or big. However, what is very remarkable is that you can find scores of beautiful, colorful pebbles around the shore and can have a great time collecting them.

10. Colva Beach

This beautiful beach is famous for its quixotic evenings, countless seafood and the comparatively calmer but charming nightlife of South Goa. Ideal for honeymooners who want some seclusion,  Colva beach is located 26 km south of Panaji.
