1. Lansdowne, Uttarakhand

Situated at an altitude of 1,700mts above sea level and surrounded with thick Oak and blue Pine forests in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, Lansdowne is one of the most serene hill stations of India. Modes of Transsport: You can easily get a bus from ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Kasol. The bus journey would take around 14 hours for you to reach Kasol. The prices of the bus tickets range according to the quality of the bus. It generally starts from Rs 500 and goes on increasing as per the bus and the services provided.

Although there is no direct bus service from Delhi to Kasol, you need to get down at Bhunter and then you can take a local bus which will take you to Kasol.

Train: Take a train from Delhi to Bhunter. Get down at the Bhunter railway station and from there take a local bus ride or hire a taxi to Kasol.

By Air: Fly from Delhi airport to either Kullu or to Dharamsala and from there take the local bus to reach Kasol.

3. Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh

Located at a height of about 3048m, Tawang is your escape into a scenery of spirituality and colorful monasteries. It is popular as the birth-place of Dalai Lama and is a perfect destination with its sceneries echoing with chants of Buddhism.
